Stress ball & fluid bear-making workshops

Activity description
To help students relieve academic stress and ease feelings of tension before their uniform test, the Club organized a stress-relief activity themed around Rest and Relaxation. The activity aimed to provide students with a space to unwind amidst their busy school lives and explore simple yet practical ways to care for their emotional well-being.
Held over two lunchtime sessions, the activity featured stress ball and fluid bear-making workshops. Through hands-on processes such as squeezing, filling, color pouring, and designing, students were encouraged to focus on the present moment and take a break from academic pressures. The completed creations could also serve as personal keepsakes, reminding students to pause, breathe, and take care of themselves during stressful times.
Activity highlight
Throughout the activity, students enthusiastically participated in both the stress ball and fluid bear-making sessions, fully engaging in the creative process. From selecting colors and designing patterns to filling and decorating their creations, students enjoyed expressing their creativity in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
By squeezing, filling, and shaping their stress balls, students experienced a simple and hands-on way to relax and relieve stress.
Through focused creation, students were able to take a break from academic stress and immerse themselves in the present moment.
Many students shared that the activity allowed them to temporarily set aside the stress of tests and assignments, helping them focus on the task at hand and feel more relaxed and at ease. Wellness Club committee members actively supported participants throughout the process and exchanged ideas on stress management, making the activity more than just a craft experience. It became a space where students could recharge, connect with one another, and enjoy a moment of respite together.
Purpose behind this activity
The committee hopes to remind students that caring for their mental well-being does not always require complicated steps. By giving themselves time to rest, engage in creative activities, and slow down, students can take small but meaningful steps towards supporting their mental health.
The committee also hopes to encourage students to gradually develop their own healthy stress-management habits, learning to relax, recognize their emotions, and face the challenges of school and daily life with greater balance and resilience.
