Activity description
The “Mental Health Week – Star Vouchers, Rainbow Toss, and Ice Cream Boost” was held during lunchtime on March 11. The event aimed to provide all students with a relaxed and safe way to express their worries, learn to release stress, and organize their emotions. Several “star jars” were set up, allowing students to write down their concerns or lingering emotions, fold them into paper stars, and place them into the jars, symbolizing acknowledgment of their worries while choosing to set them aside for the moment. The event also featured a Rainbow Toss mini-game, and students could enjoy ice cream from the ice cream truck afterward, adding extra fun and interaction.
Activity highlight
On the day of the event, the atmosphere was relaxed and cheerful. Students eagerly participated, actively writing down their worries, folding them into paper stars, and placing them into the star jars, thoughtfully completing the “let go of worries” process. During the Rainbow Toss mini-game, students both challenged themselves and interacted with others—landing on red required answering a mental and emotional wellness question (e.g., describing today’s mood as a type of weather), while landing on blue won them a big plush prize. Some students were lucky enough to win the grand prize, adding even more joy and excitement to the scene. Students also queued up at the ice cream truck, enjoying delicious treats while sharing stories and laughter with friends. The entire lunchtime was filled with positive energy and lively interaction.

Purpose behind this activity
The Wellness Club hopes that through this event, students are provided with a safe and relaxed platform to express their worries positively and learn ways to manage their emotions and stress. It is hoped that students can let go of pressure, enhance emotional awareness, and cultivate mutual support and communication skills through interactive and light-hearted activities. By engaging in simple creative tasks and games, students can develop mental health awareness in a positive and enjoyable atmosphere while creating warm and meaningful school memories.
