Icing Cookie Decorating Workshop

Activity description
Icing cookie decorating for family bonding and relaxation
Activity highlight
On Parent's Day, committee members hosted their second wellness activity – an Icing Cookie Decorating Workshop. The aim of the activity was to use creativity to strengthen family bonds and help everyone relax, easing the pressures of academic life. While Parent's Day typically focuses on academic achievements and results, the committee members hoped to offer a space where families could interact and unwind. The activity attracted 120 parents and students.
On the day, the committee set up a cookie decorating station, inviting parents and children to decorate their own cookies together. Participants had the choice of icing, sprinkles, and other decorations to create unique cookie designs. In the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, parents and children not only enjoyed the creative process but also deepened their understanding and emotional connection with one another.

Many students patiently made their cookies, carefully selecting materials and matching colours. Each cookie turned out unique, reflecting their own creativity.
This activity provided a much-needed break from academic worries, allowing families to focus on spending quality time together and offering an opportunity to share joy and relax.
Purpose behind this activity
The committee hopes that this activity will allow families to temporarily forget their worries about grades and create wonderful memories together.
