Activity description
Designed for parents, teachers, and students, the activity invited participants to create healthy desserts together, fostering teamwork, mutual support, and meaningful interaction. Mindful eating elements were incorporated by engaging the five senses—sight, smell, taste, touch, and hearing - to encourage students to stay present, appreciate food, and cultivate positive emotions and healthy lifestyle habits.
Activity highlight
Designed for parents, teachers, and students, around 30 participants joined the event and were divided into six mixed groups. Under the theme of “Healthy Eating and Five-Sense Experience,” members collaborated to create healthy desserts, strengthening communication and emotional bonding among families and school members.
To begin, facilitators introduced the concepts of healthy eating and mindful eating, encouraging participants to engage their five senses—sight, smell, taste, touch, and hearing—while preparing the desserts. Group members were guided to collaborate and communicate effectively, fostering understanding and teamwork in a warm and supportive atmosphere.

During the dessert-making session, each group brainstormed ingredient combinations and presentation styles, demonstrating creativity and teamwork. Participants mindfully experienced the colors, aromas, and flavors of the food while working together to complete their creations. Each group’s final product reflected their unique ideas and shared effort.

At the end of the event, participants shared that the collaborative experience deepened their mutual understanding and strengthened their relationships. Beyond promoting healthy eating, the activity fostered support, care, and meaningful connections among teachers, students, and parents, making it a warm and memorable experience for all.
Purpose behind this activity
This activity aims to strengthen communication and collaboration among teachers, students, and parents, fostering closer relationships and emotional bonding. By creating healthy desserts together and incorporating mindful eating practices, participants enhance their awareness of physical and mental well-being, learn to stay present, and cultivate positive emotions and healthy lifestyle habits. Through an enjoyable and interactive experience, the activity encourages mutual support, care, and stronger interpersonal connections.
