Activity description

Connecting Form 6 students and teachers to express mutual gratitude through the activity, thereby strengthening their relationship.

Activity highlight

In mid-January, the committee held its first mental wellness activity on campus – the Full of FUN & Food Station, with the concept of give-and-take and thus strengthening teacher-student relationships, attracting 110 teachers and students to participate.

In preparation for the activity, the committee members first asked teachers to write encouraging messages for the Form 6 students. These messages were then made into small cards, placed in red envelopes, and ready for the students to pick. When the activity began, the committee members pushed a food cart towards the Form 6 classrooms. They introduced themselves and the activity, then allowed students to pick a red envelope and some snacks to cheer them on. The Form 6 students eagerly picked envelopes, hoping to receive a card from their favourite teacher. The atmosphere was very lively! After receiving the teachers' encouragement, the students expressed their gratitude by writing heartfelt cards and "ordering" small gifts (such as eye masks, coffee, or chocolate) for the teachers.

The Form 6 students eagerly opened red envelopes containing blessings from their teachers.

After the activity, the committee members carefully wrapped the students' heartfelt cards and gifts and delivered them one by one to the staffroom. Many teachers were surprised and touched by the gesture. The responses from the Form 6 students and teachers also left the committee members feeling very fulfilled. Everyone enjoyed the activity.

Purpose behind this activity

The committee hopes that through the activity, teachers and students will be encouraged to express gratitude towards each other, thereby strengthening their relationship. This will not only enhance the teacher-student bond and give students the opportunity to release stress, but it will also contribute to improving mental health.
