Youth Advisory Committee (YAC)

To ensure that the voices of young people are heard, JC LevelMind@School has formed a Youth Advisory Committee, uniting approximately 10 local high school students from various backgrounds. They offer insights and viewpoints on mental health matters, infusing fresh perspectives into the initiative. Additionally, they engage in coordinating the JC LevelMind Fest, honing their skills as peer leaders, fostering their peers' understanding of mental health, and heightening public awareness of youth mental well-being. The recruitment of the 25/26 year Youth Advisory Committee is now underway!

Youth Advisory Committee

❤️ Represents "my self-care and charging methods"

What does YAC mean to our Committee?

“A sofa is where a group of people sit comfortably. I hope we can all work together to foster a warm, welcoming committee like home, sharing valuable ideas and working as a team! I also hope that new ideas would create an even greater impact on the local community and potentially change the landscape for mental health in Hong Kong.” — Ronnie Wong

“I envision my ideal YAC team as one that harnesses collective experiences and knowledge to create significant initiatives promoting mental wellness among Hong Kong's youth. The word “impactful” captures the essence of our mission: to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people facing mental health challenges.”
— Lauren Shaw
