Wonderful Collision of Colors and Mind

Soul Station - Buddhist May Fung Memorial College
Arc

Activity description

The Wellness Club organized the "Wonderful Collision of Colors and Mind" Creative Healing Workshop in the form of alcohol ink painting for students to join. Held during the lunch break at the school's SAC, the activity invited students to create artwork using their favorite colors and patterns. Once finished, students wrote encouraging messages to themselves directly on their pieces. Throughout the process, participants practiced mindfulness and focus as they quietly blended their preferred designs. The workshop also gave students a chance to interact with peers, express their personal thoughts, and learn to encourage others.

Activity highlight

In May, the Wellness Club "Soul Station" successfully held the second wellness activity, attracting nearly 15 students to this creative healing workshop. Committee members prepared various ink colors, rubbing alcohol, and art paper for everyone. After learning the basics of alcohol ink art, students immersed themselves in their creations, combining colors to reflect their current thoughts and feelings. Some students even enjoyed it so much that they asked to create multiple pieces! The event was a resounding success, leaving participants feeling relaxed and uplifted.

Purpose behind this activity

To help students relieve emotional stress and offer a hands-on space for self-expression, the Wellness Club hopes that this ink-blending activity will foster creative thinking while teaching students practical ways to release emotional pressure.
