Activity description

As the Form 6 students approach their (DSE) exam, the club organizes an activity to bring together Form 1 to Form 5 students to make paper stars and write encouraging messages. These stars are used to create wish jars, who

Activity highlight

Broom Club successfully hosted its first school-wide event, "Wishing Star Overflow", at the end of February. Over the course of three days, the club set up a booth during lunch breaks, inviting students to write encouraging messages on paper strips, fold them into stars, and place them into the mini wish jars. After collecting all the stars, the club presented them to each Form 6 student as a heartfelt blessing. Many students expressed that this activity helped them realize the importance of showing support for one another, and they hope these blessings can bring encouragement to the Form 6 students.

Purpose behind this activity

The Form 6 students, facing their first public examination, often experience significant psychological pressure. This activity aims to provide them with blessings and encouragement from their peers, helping to ease feelings of anxiety, loneliness, and helplessness. This support contributes to building their resilience. For the Form 1 to Form 5 students, the activity offers an opportunity to express their support and encouragement toward others directly, fostering a sense of capability and happiness.
