Unwind - True Light

Activity description
Designed for teachers and students, the activity involves decorating True Light Bears to express emotions, using colors, patterns, and sizes, while participants use colored ping pong balls to reflect and discuss emotional awareness.
Activity highlight
Inspired by Mind HK training, "True Light Shining on You" Club hosted its very first activity, centered around the idea that different colors can represent different emotions. This activity attracted 20 students and teachers to participate.
To kick off the workshop, club members gave a short presentation using colored ping pong balls to illustrate how colors can represent different emotions for different people. The sharing sparked discussion and reflection among the participants, fostering meaningful interaction. This session provided a safe space for students to discuss their emotions naturally.

Students use different colors’ ping pong balls to represent different emotions.
After the sharing, each participating student received three blank bear figurines and a set of paints. They were invited to paint their bears based on how they felt in that moment, how they had felt the previous week, and how they imagined they would feel in the future. Everyone really enjoyed painting their bears and left the activity with a personalized and meaningful keepsake.
