Activity description
The “Twist Stick Workshop” was held during the lunch periods on April 13 and 14, attracting around 70 students. The workshop provided twist sticks in various colors, with each color representing a different positive energy—for example, yellow symbolized happiness and friendship, purple represented calmness and confidence, and pink stood for warmth and gratitude. Students were free to choose their preferred colors and, under the guidance of committee members, create their own tulips, using the hands-on activity to relax and temporarily set aside their worries.
Activity highlight
The atmosphere at the workshop was relaxed and cheerful, with students actively participating, unleashing their creativity, and focusing on selecting colors to craft their personalized Twist Flowers. Committee members attentively guided the students through the steps, explaining the positive energy represented by each color, helping participants experience uplifting emotions and a shift in mood during the creative process. After completing their creations, participants eagerly shared their Twist Flowers with others. The activity not only allowed students to enjoy the fun of hands-on crafting but also effectively relieved stress and fostered a warm, interactive environment.

Students paired different colors to create their unique ‘Twist Flowers’💐
The committee members were delighted to see students fully engaged, enjoying moments of relaxation, and temporarily setting aside the negative emotions caused by worries. It was a meaningful experience for both the Wellness Club and the students.
Purpose behind this activity
Through this activity, we hope that students can temporarily set aside the pressures, worries, and tension accumulated from busy academic and daily life. By focusing on the hands-on crafting process, students are encouraged to let go of external distractions and inner thoughts, immersing themselves in the rhythm and calmness of creation. This allows them to experience true relaxation and rest, letting their hands guide their minds to slow down and reconnect with the often-overlooked sense of peace that belongs to themselves in everyday life.
