The Magic Show

Well-being Council - TWGHs Li Ka Shing College
Arc

Activity description

The “Magic Show” activity was organized jointly by the Wellness Club and the Magic Society, and took place during recess and lunch breaks. In the activity, students took on the role of magicians, performing a variety of exciting magic tricks for classes with larger numbers of students on each floor. Through these peer-to-peer interactive performances, the activity provided students with a short moment to relax and take a break, allowing them to step away from the busy learning pace, relieve academic stress, and reset their mental and physical well-being.

Activity highlight

During the activity, student magicians took the stage in different classes, performing a variety of close-up magic tricks. The students responded enthusiastically and were fully engaged. The performances were filled with surprises and laughter, with many students actively participating in the interactive segments, creating a lively and relaxed atmosphere. Many students were amazed and astonished by the results of the magic, expressing disbelief as exclamations of wonder filled the room.

In addition, teachers also joined in the performances, presenting impressive magic demonstrations that further energized the audience. Through the interactions between students and teachers, the activity not only fostered a sense of closeness but also allowed everyone to enjoy a brief moment of relaxation and delight.

Purpose behind this activity

The Club hopes that, through co-organising the “Magic Show” with the Magic Society, students can have brief moments of relaxation amid their busy school life, helping them relieve stress and build resilience. At the same time, as the activity is performed by students themselves, it helps promote interaction and connection among peers, fostering closer relationships within the school community.

In the future, the Wellness Club looks forward to collaborating with different organisations to organise more creative and interactive activities, bringing joy, support, and positive energy to students.
