The Energy Journey

Activity description
To help students better distinguish between positive behaviors that promote mental well-being and those that drain emotional energy, the club organized a mental health booth game titled “Energy Journey.” Through a fun ball-tossing challenge themed around “Energy Boost” and “Energy Drain,” participants learned to categorize different stress-relieving behaviors as helpful or unhelpful. The engaging format encouraged students to reflect on their coping habits and develop healthier ways to manage stress and emotions.
Activity highlight
The activity was held during the lunch break, with each round participated by two students at a time. The committee prepared twelve “Energy Balls,” each labeled with different behaviors and actions, along with two baskets named “Energy Refill Station” and “Energy Drain Station.” When the 30-second countdown began, participants quickly picked up a ball, read the behavior written on it, and decided whether it represented an “energy-boosting” or “energy-draining” action before tossing it into the corresponding basket. Points were added for correct answers and deducted for incorrect ones.
The atmosphere was lively and cheerful, students had great fun while learning how to distinguish between healthy and unhealthy ways of coping with stress!
