Stress Relief Station

LOHAS - Christ College
Arc

Activity description

Committee members invited students to play card-flipping games and make floating vases, in order to relieve stress.

Activity highlight

To provide students with a moment's respite from the pressures of schoolwork and life, Stress Relief Station was held on May 12th and 13th, attracting approximately 100 students to experience two relaxation zones: a "game zone" and a "craft zone."

In the game zone, students used another picture card to knock over picture cards on the ground, symbolically releasing their worries and emotions. The atmosphere was both therapeutic and slightly competitive; the louder the knocking, the louder the laughter!

Many students were interested in playing card-flipping game.

On the other side, the craft area offers an activity to make "floating vases". Students can choose their own flowers and color combinations, put their favorite colors into glass bottles, and seal a bottle of peace and beauty that is uniquely their own.

Students were making their own floating vases.

Purpose behind this activity

The student council members hoped that this "Stress Relief Station" would not only allow students to release accumulated stress in a relaxed atmosphere, but also create many joyful moments and allow them to temporarily forget their troubles. They looked forward to recharging everyone and hoped that each participant would leave feeling lighter and more at ease than when they arrived.
