Stained Glass Keychain Workshop

Activity description

This workshop offered students a creative and therapeutic experience through stained glass keyrings. Guided by the instructor, students crafted unique pieces, taking time to de-stress, focus on themselves, and enjoy the creative process.

Activity highlight

Students enjoyed full freedom to choose their glass pieces, materials, and final products (keyring or hanging ornament). This allowed them to step away from academic stress and embrace their creativity.

Glass soldering requires time and patience. It is a good opportunity to practice calmness and focus.

For most students, stained glass soldering was a fun yet challenging new experience. Despite being from different grades, students helped and encouraged one another, supported by the instructor's patient guidance.

As the crafting required high precision, the session took longer than planned. Though time was tight toward the end, many students stayed behind to complete their work, showing great enthusiasm.

Purpose behind this activity

The wellness club hopes students enjoyed a well-deserved break after their exams. By opening the workshop to the whole school, the club also aimed to help students make new friends across different grades.
