Online Wellbeing Student Workshop

Activity description
To raise awareness about digital well-being, the club invited a registered social worker from the Hong Kong Playground Association's "FEEL3 Youth Cyber Support Service" to conduct a sharing session. Since 2014, FEEL3 has supported over 100 schools and is commissioned by the Education Bureau to promote cyber safety. The seminar aimed to deepen students' understanding of internet addiction and its impact. Through professional insights, students learned to manage their screen time effectively and establish a balanced, self-disciplined lifestyle to enhance their overall mental wellness.
Activity highlight
The sharing session attracted 167 participants who remained focused throughout the session. Using vivid case studies and data, the social worker encouraged students to reflect on their daily internet habits and shared practical tips for avoiding addiction. Purpose behind this activity
Through this sharing session, the club hopes students can strike a healthy balance between the virtual world and real life. We encourage students to apply the self-management techniques they learned to their daily routines, ensuring that internet use does not interfere with their studies or social lives. The club will continue to promote positive attitudes toward information technology and help students build healthy online values, fostering a self-disciplined campus environment that supports everyone’s mental wellness.
