Mindful Radio

Activity description
On April 22, the club hosted a music-themed booth event to help students explore the connection between music and mental health through songs and lyrics. The activity aimed to teach students how to use music as an everyday way to manage their emotions. The event attracted around 170 students, filling the venue with a warm, energetic atmosphere.
Activity highlight
At the event, club committees showcased songs, lyrics, and music stories shared by teachers and students, all centered around themes of stress, companionship, encouragement, and emotional support. As students read through the different song features, they paused to discuss the lyrics with one another, sharing their own favorite tracks and what those songs meant to them.
Students took the time to explore the display boards, drawing inspiration from the songs shared by their teachers and peers.
Many students proactively wrote down songs that held special meaning to them or helped them through difficult times, along with their reasons why. Some shared that certain tracks brought them comfort when feeling stressed or down, while others used the lyrics to reconnect with cherished memories of friends and family. The activity helped students realize that beyond entertainment, music can be a meaningful way to process emotions and relieve stress.
After sharing their picks, students received club-designed souvenirs—including lyrics NFC keychains and lyrics pens—to carry that sense of encouragement and companionship into their daily lives.
Beyond giving out fun souvenirs, club committees wanted to highlight the healing power of music.
Purpose behind this activity
The club aimed to encourage students to pay closer attention to their emotional and mental well-being, turning to music as a comforting companion and coping tool during times of stress or low mood.
Looking ahead, the club hopes to host more activities where students can share their feelings, support one another, and build meaningful connections—making the campus a warmer and more supportive place for everyone.
