Me Time

Activity description
Before exams, the club held two lunchtime self-care sessions called Me Time. In the first session, students enjoyed a cookie decorating workshop, karaoke, and a "Spin the Self-Care Wheel" booth. They used icing colors to reflect how they wanted to feel, sang Disney and pop songs, and spun the wheel for simple self-care ideas. The second session featured a herbal scent bag workshop, where students created their own calming scent bags to support their well-being. Throughout both sessions, students and teachers captured the special moments on film cameras to preserve the memories and had a mini exhibition to display these photos..
Activity highlight
The Me Time events took place during lunchtime on May 23 and 29, each attracting 150–200 students—far more than the 50–80 the club had anticipated. Although it was a bit crowded, it was heartwarming to see so many students having fun decorating cookies, singing at the karaoke station, making scent pouches, and spinning the Self-Care Wheel. While the large turnout was a bit overwhelming for club members, they were thrilled to see their peers enjoying the event.

Purpose behind this activity
The goal of the event was to remind students to prioritize their well-being and happiness. Many girls at MSS feel stressed and anxious about their academic results, which is completely understandable. However, the club also wanted to emphasize that taking care of themselves and their happiness is equally, if not more, important.
