Lunchtime Radio

Activity description
Coinciding with the last school day of our Form 6 students, we organised a “Lunchtime Radio” activity to offer everyone a moment of relaxation amid their busy academic schedule. Students and teachers were invited to dedicate a favourite song, or use music to convey their thoughts and feelings to classmates and friends. They could also leave short messages of encouragement to uplift one another, ease fatigue, and together cherish these precious and memorable moments of school life.
Activity highlight
The club organised a “Lunchtime Radio” activity in early February, inviting students and teachers to submit song requests and messages. The initiative aimed to provide a sense of relaxation and emotional warmth after examinations, attracting participation from a number of students and teachers.
During the activity, committee members read out the submitted messages over the broadcast to convey the senders’ sentiments, followed by the requested songs. This created a warm and supportive atmosphere on campus. Through the exchange of music and words, listeners were able to feel mutual care and encouragement, while also relieving the stress brought on by their studies.

Purpose behind this activity
To support the mental well-being of all students—including Form 6 students—the club aims to foster a caring and supportive school environment through the “Lunchtime Radio” activity. By using music to provide space for relaxation and rest, and encouraging students to share messages of encouragement and care, the initiative helps promote positive relationships and strengthens students’ resilience in facing stress and challenges.
