Fluid Bear DIY

Activity description
The event was a Fluid Bear DIY activity, where students created their own fluid bear figurines. Participants selected three colors of their choice, mixed the paints together, and poured them over the bear figure. Each color carries a distinct meaning or mood, which students were encouraged to define for themselves, thereby learning to express their immediate feelings and emotions.
Activity highlight
The Wellness Club "Soul ∞ Connection" held the second in-school wellness activity in early May. Committee members organized the "Healing Fluid Bear Workshop" after school, attracting nearly 20 students and teachers. To begin, committee members introduced the purpose of the activity and shared insights on the connection between colors and emotions. They aimed to help students understand that colors can reflect one's mood and that everyone's perception of color is unique, with no absolute right or wrong. Through this creative process, the students and teachers used colors to express their emotions—selecting shades they liked or felt represented their current mood to craft a personalized fluid bear. Everyone involved was deeply engaged and successfully created a one-of-a-kind piece!
Committee members carefully guided students on how to make their fluid bears.
Purpose behind this activity
To help students release stress and unwind their body and mind, the Wellness Club hopes that through this workshop, students come to realize that there is no single "right" or "wrong" way to create fluid art. Because the flow and direction of paint are inherently unpredictable, the activity teaches students to embrace randomness and uncertainty, ultimately fostering resilience.
