Five Senses Experience House

Activity description
This five-senses experiential activity aims to guide students to mindfully appreciate the beauty of nature. First, they taste pistachios, finding the nuts crisp and delicious. Next, they take a deep breath to inhale the refreshing bursts of floral fragrance wafting through the air. Then, they reach out to gently touch a feather, experiencing a texture as fine and soft as silk. After that, they prick up their ears to listen to the crisp, melodious singing of birds. Finally, they observe with their eyes the birds' nimble movements, as well as the vibrant colors and graceful postures of their feathers.
Activity highlight
During this activity, the students showed an exceptionally high level of engagement, fully immersing themselves in mindfully feeling and experiencing the blind boxes. We encouraged them to try bravely, and with a mix of excitement and nervousness, they explored the blind boxes representing different senses. The venue was filled with continuous laughter, and the overall atmosphere was lighthearted and pleasant—brimming with interaction and the positive energy of mutual support.
After putting on the blindfold, with the guidance and encouragement of the committee member, the student gradually overcame her inner anxiety and nervousness and completed the experience.
The Principal joined in the fun and experienced the activity booths firsthand! Here she was taking on the “taste” blind box in the 'Five Senses Experience House' activity. 👅
