Finger Creativity, Stress Relief and Healing

Activity description
The Wellness Club held the “Finger Creativity, Stress Relief and Healing” beading workshop on 27 and 29 April during lunch time. The activity aimed to provide students with a relaxing handmade experience, allowing them to take a short break and unwind amid their busy academic lives.
No prior beading experience was required. A wide variety of colourful beads, elastic strings, and accessories were prepared on site, enabling participants to freely express their creativity and design their own unique beaded creations. Surrounded by soft music and a relaxing atmosphere, students focused on the delicate process of beading, gradually calming their thoughts and enjoying the therapeutic nature of handmade crafting.
Activity highlight
During the activity, students focused intently on selecting beads and matching colors and styles, fully enjoying the fun of hands-on crafting in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere. By immersing themselves in the beading process, participants were able to momentarily set aside academic and daily pressures, letting their thoughts settle with the rhythm of their fingers and experiencing the therapeutic benefits of handmade creation. Students also shared ideas and admired each other’s work, filling the room with laughter and warmth.
At the end of the workshop, each participant took home their own handmade beaded creation. These unique pieces not only served as treasured keepsakes but also became little “healing companions” to brighten their everyday lives.

All eyes on the beads! Everyone was seriously focused 👀
Additionally, on the second day of the activity, a special “Rainbow Toss” interactive session was introduced. Students who completed the Rainbow Task Card each received a claw machine token, which they could use to try their luck and win small prizes, adding extra fun and a touch of challenge to the event.

Day 2 of the activity featured a fun Rainbow Toss game 🌈
Purpose behind this activity
The Wellness Club aims to encourage students to pay attention to their mental and physical well-being by organizing various stress-relief and hands-on activities, helping them develop habits of relaxation and self-care amid the busy campus life.
We also hope these activities can serve as a platform for students to connect with one another, share experiences, and enjoy a warm and supportive environment on campus. Moving forward, the Association will continue to offer a diverse range of activities, bringing students more joy, creativity, and positive energy.
