Emotional Bear

Activity description
For their second activity, the Wellness Club was inspired by other schools and our previous Mind HK training to host a DIY fluid bear keychain workshop. At the start of the session, the club presented a slideshow explaining how different colors can represent different emotions. Participants were then invited to choose three to four paint colors that reflected how they were feeling in the moment.
Activity highlight
The club held the activity on May 2, running two one-hour sessions with a total of around 60 participants, including some teachers. With the great weather today, it was a lovely way to wrap up the week before the long weekend. Many students really enjoyed creating their fluid bear bricks. After pouring the colors onto their bear keychains, some participants volunteered to share the reasons behind their color choices and what those colors meant to them. Some even mentioned that they chose colors they wouldn’t normally pick—because those colors best represented how they were feeling in that moment.

Committee member shared how color expresses inner feelings.

Some students shared their reasons for choosing this color and the emotions behind it.
Purpose behind this activity
The purpose of this event was to offer a fun and creative activity that students would enjoy, while also encouraging them to reflect on their emotions—highlighting how feelings can be diverse and hold different meanings. It served as a lighthearted and engaging way to start conversations about emotions in a low-pressure environment
