“Stress Buster Arrow” — Beating Negative Emotions Through Booth Activities

Activity description
This activity used games to help students relax and unwind, while fostering a positive and proactive culture. Before the activity, the committee members collected negative phrases participants had heard, which were then used as targets in the game booths. Students used toy bows and arrows to aim at and "hit" these negative phrases, symbolizing the active breaking of negative thoughts and stressful events. This gave participants a meaningful opportunity to express and release their emotions.
Activity highlight
The club held its first wellness activity, "Arrow Stress Relief," in mid-March. The activity aimed to help participants break free from negative thoughts and foster a positive, proactive culture, attracting 129 teachers and students.
Before the activity, committee members collected negative phrases that participants had heard. On the activity day, a whiteboard was set up in the activity room with targets labeled with these negative phrases. Students used toy bows and arrows to hit the targets, symbolizing overcoming negativity.

Beside the game booth, beautifully designed cards with encouraging messages were displayed for students to pick. While drawing a card, participants also left their blessings for others on a message board, spreading care and positivity.

Students are writing encouraging messages, hoping that those who pick up the encouragement cards will receive a boost of positive energy.
Purpose of this activity
The committee members hope that through this activity, participants will have an opportunity to express their feelings and use the shooting game to overcome their negative emotions. The aim is to help them relax from their worries and avoid being trapped in negative thoughts.
