Destress 4 Success

Activity description
The club organized a school fair as their last activity of the year to help students relax and de-stress ahead of the June exam period. Held in the courtyard, the event featured a range of fun and engaging booths, including popular attractions like claw machines and popcorn, alongside lively student busking performances—both of which had been well received at previous events. The club also brought back their signature rainbow coin toss booth. In addition, the club collaborated with the Hong Kong Society of Psychological Innovation (HKSPI), which hosted interactive booths focused on promoting mental health awareness and introducing practical tools to build resilience.
Activity highlight
The event took place on May 5 during lunchtime, strategically scheduled a few weeks before the exam period when students typically begin intensifying their revision. This timing gave students a chance to take a meaningful break, recharge, and connect with peers before academic pressure peaked. Despite some unexpected rain, the team was well-prepared and quickly implemented a backup plan. The event was highly successful, attracting a large number of participants throughout the lunch period. Students gathered to enjoy the lively busking performances, creating a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere across campus. At the same time, the booths hosted by HKSPI drew strong interest, with students actively engaging in interactive activities, learning more about mental health, and exploring practical tools to build resilience. The steady flow of participants and the positive energy throughout the event reflected its strong impact and popularity among the student body.

Purpose behind this activity
The purpose of the activity was to help students unwind and relieve stress ahead of the busy exam period, when academic pressure typically begins to build. The club aimed to create a fun and interactive fair that offered students a meaningful break from their routines, featuring engaging booths, lively busking performances, and mental health–related activities. Beyond simply providing entertainment, the event was designed to promote overall well-being by encouraging students to take time to relax, connect with peers, and recharge both mentally and emotionally. Through the inclusion of HKPSI mental health activities, the club also sought to raise awareness and equip students with simple, practical strategies to manage stress and build resilience during challenging periods.
