Dessert Worry-free Station

K.Serenity - Kit Sam Lam Bing Yim Secondary School
Arc

Activity description

The wellness activity consisted of two parts: cookie decorating and herbal tea. First, students were free to create on cookies using ingredients such as marshmallows or chocolate pens. They could write or draw — for example, writing encouraging messages, drawing their favourite patterns, or simply expressing their emotions or stress. After decorating, they could enjoy the cookies they had made. As for the herbal tea, students could choose their preferred type of tea, and the society's student leaders would serve it according to their choices, helping them relax.

Activity highlight

In mid-May, the wellness club "K.Serenity” successfully hosted the third wellness activity— "Dessert Relief Station". The activity attracted approximately 50 students who stayed behind to participate.

During the activity, students were given the creative space to decorate biscuits using marshmallows, chocolate pens, and other toppings. They were encouraged to express themselves through writing or drawing—whether by penning words of encouragement, sketching their favourite patterns, or simply channelling their current emotions and stress levels. Afterwards, students enjoyed their own sweet creations, a process designed to help them naturally unwind and alleviate pressure. A selection of scented herbal teas was also provided, allowing students to pause and relax amidst their busy school lives.

Purpose behind this activity

To help students unwind during demanding academic periods, the club aims to guide them in managing stress effectively and finding genuine relaxation to support their mental wellbeing. By hosting this activity, the club created an uplifting atmosphere where students could fully immerse themselves, release built-up emotions, and restore their inner peace and vitality—ultimately fostering holistic growth.

At the same time, the activity encouraged students to take the initiative to meet new friends. Through collaboration and shared conversation, participants naturally bonded, expanding their social circles and comfort zones. This interaction further strengthened overall school solidarity, contributing to a warmer and more supportive campus environment.
