Christmas Relaxation Wreaths

Rose Greenhouse - Our Lady of the Rosary College
Arc

Activity description

Hoping to allow their fellow schoolmates to relieve academic stress and embrace the festive season with a lighter heart, the club organized a "Christmas Relaxation Wreath" DIY Workshop. Participants designed and decorated their own Christmas wreaths, writing cheerful messages or words of encouragement on cards attached to them. The activity encouraged students to relax through hands-on creativity while appreciating the joy and calmness of the Christmas season.

Activity highlight

The committee members prepared a variety of wreath-making materials, such as twist ties and decorative items, allowing their schoolmates to express their creativity freely. During the process, the participants not only shared their excitement and joy for Christmas but also wrote messages of encouragement or festive blessings on cards to hang on their wreaths, adding a personal touch and a warm holiday atmosphere. The crafting process provided a space for them to take a break from academic stress.  It was heart-warming to see everyone’s satisfying smile after creating their own Christmas wreaths.

In the zone of creativity - every twist brings a sense of calm.

Purpose behind this activity

The club committee hopes that through the “Christmas Wreath Making” activity, their schoolmates will be reminded to set aside time for themselves amid their busy academic schedules, using simple creative work as a way to relieve stress and organize their thoughts. The committee also wishes that when students see their wreaths and encouraging messages during the holidays, they will be reminded, especially while preparing for exams, of the importance of caring for themselves.
