Christmas Gift Pack Distribution

Activity description
The committee members prepared Christmas gift packages for all the students, including a handwritten Christmas card hand-written by the committee members to wish the students a Merry Christmas and encourage them to make good use of their holiday time to prepare for exams, while also reminding them to get enough rest during the break. The club members hoped that the handwritten Christmas cards would convey our thoughtfulness, the snacks and small toys in the gift packages would help to relieve students’ stress.
Activity highlight
The wellness club "Mindful Roses" held the first in-school wellness activity in mid-December. Before the event, committee members shared a preview of the activity with students to provide simple support and encouragement. On the day of the event, they distributed Christmas gift packs to over 800 students across the entire school. These gift packs contained hand-written Christmas cards with encouraging messages, stress-relief toys, and snacks. The aim was to support students and remind them to take good care of themselves and relax when appropriate while studying during the holidays. Overall, the committee members received positive feedback from students in different classes, who expressed feeling supported and encouraged!
Committee members introduced the activity to all students during a Monday morning assembly.
The wishes and names of the students on the Christmas cards were all hand-written by committee members.
Purpose behind this activity
To alleviate exam pressure on students, the club aims to emphasise the importance of getting enough rest by sending small gifts, enabling students to approach their post-Christmas exams with a relaxed mindset.
