Aroma for the Soul

Activity description
The committee members held the "Aroma for the Soul" booth activity to provide students with methods to relieve stress. The booth featured various types of dried herbs and spices, such as lavender and chamomile. Students could choose their preferred scents and sachet bags, mixing and matching them freely to create a personalised relaxing sachet for daily use to help themselves unwind.
Activity highlight
The wellness club "KDNEM" held the first in-school wellness activity in mid-March. The committee members organised the activity "Aroma for the Soul" during Chill Carnival week, welcoming all students to participate freely. The activity ran for three consecutive days during lunch breaks and after-school hours, attracting over 100 students. Committee members prepared eight types of scents effective for emotional relief, including rose, lavender, honeysuckle, mint, and jasmine. Students could use these at the booth to create their own unique scented sachets. When feeling troubled or stressed, they can smell the sachet to help themselves relax.

Participants took part in the activity, placing their favourite spices into sachets.
Purpose behind this activity
Through this activity, the committee members hope to alleviate various pressures faced by students. By creating scented sachets in the "Aroma for the Soul" activity, they expect students to find relaxation through the soothing power of aromatherapy.
